New ZDHC watchlist raises questions

ZDHC has launched a new tool to give brands and their suppliers an industry-specific reference for substances of concern as they grapple with incoming EU disclosure rules and rising expectations on chemical transparency.

The Chemical Watchlist sits alongside its Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL), which lists chemicals banned from intentional use in the textiles, apparel and footwear industry and has become a de facto industry standard.
