Textiles join cross-industry unified EPR push

BRUSSELS — Euratex, the European Apparel and Textile Confederation, has joined forces with two other major industry alliances to demand a centralised EPR registration system across the EU.

The trade body warns that the current patchwork of national registers is imposing unnecessary costs and complexity on textile producers — particularly smaller businesses trading across borders.
