Australian biotech sharpens its commercial focus on tree-free Nullarbor fibre as cellulose supply squeeze looms
PERTH – Australian biomaterials innovator Nanollose is narrowing its commercial focus exclusively to its flagship Nullarbor fibre and abandoning plans to pursue parallel markets including agricultural inputs and leather alternatives.
The strategic pivot follows a comprehensive review by the company's newly appointed CEO and managing director, Andrew Moullin, who concluded that spreading limited resources across multiple applications risked jeopardising the company's core textile opportunity.
