US trade body issues guidance to help protect apparel and footwear supply chain workers from increasing heat stress
WASHINGTON DC - Fashion brands and retailers are being urged to hold regular talks with suppliers to ensure garment workers are protected from rising heat stress risks in global supply chains.
It comes in new guidance posted by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) aimed at helping brands and suppliers to safeguard garment workers from extreme heat.
