Accelerating Circularity urges greater mass balance adoption

New paper calls for brands to adopt minimum recycled content targets in finished products and use third party-certified mass balance methods

NEW YORK – Nonprofit organisation Accelerating Circularity has released a new paper with a series of recommendations for brands and retailers, policymakers and investors around the use of mass balance in textile chemical recycling.

The paper, titled ‘Tipping the Scale: Mass Balance in Textile Chemical Recycling’, was developed through the Alliance for Chemical Recycling (ACTR) working group.
