Shahi scales Fibre52 cotton pretreatment

India’s largest apparel exporter rolls out low-temperature, caustic-soda-free cotton pretreatment across 3,000 tonnes of annual knit capacity

NEW DELHI – Indian apparel giant Shahi Exports has partnered with US-based Innovo Fiber LLC to deploy the Fibre52 cotton pretreatment system across its integrated knits operations, in what the partners describe as the largest industrial-scale rollout of the technology to date.

Fibre52, owned by Innovo Fiber, is a ZDHC MRSL- and Oeko-Tex-certified drop-in, low-temperature pretreatment platform that replaces conventional scouring and bleaching.
