Textile manufacturer claims “quiet progress” as it publishes its 2026 Sustainability Report but detail is lacking on scope 3

CHARLOTTE – Elevate Textiles, which owns manufacturers including American & Efird (A&E), Burlington and Cone Denim, claims to have met its 2025 greenhouse gas (GHG) and water reduction targets.

The company's newly published 2026 Sustainability Report says it has met its 2025 targets for GHG and water reductions from a 2019 baseline and remains “on track” for its 2030 Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated GHG goals.
