NEW DELHI — A World Wildlife Fund (WWF) project with US retailer Macy’s is highlighting how clean water access and rising heat stress are converging to threaten both workers and production in key textile regions.
The initiative focuses on shared water challenges in India’s Noyyal-Bhavani and Vietnam’s Dong Nai river basins, where factories and surrounding communities are already experiencing scarcity, pollution and climate-driven extremes.
