AMSTERDAM – The Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC), together with a global coalition of trade unions and environmental NGOs, has published a manifesto challenging prevailing industry approaches to decarbonisation and “net zero” planning.

The manifesto stresses that many garment workers are already living with the consequences of climate breakdown, from factories forced to close during extreme heatwaves to production hubs hit by floods.
