Apparel Impact Institute shifts funding to bigger, more capital-intensive projects to cut supply chain emissions faster by 2030

SAN FRANCISCO — The Apparel Impact Institute (Aii) is restructuring its decarbonisation programmes to prioritise fewer, larger projects at supplier level as it targets faster emissions cuts this decade.

The non-profit has worked with more than 1,500 factories since 2018, delivering over 1.1 million tonnes of CO2e savings and unlocking nearly $188 million in capital for upgrades in key production hubs.
