HKRITA green machine for recycling polyester-cotton textiles

HONG KONG – HKRITA, the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel, has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on technology transfer services with Chengdu Qinggong Polytechnic University, marking the first time the Chengdu-based institution has entered into an international research cooperation agreement with a Hong Kong research body.

HKRITA says the move is designed to strengthen connections across the textile value chain and promote technology sharing between Hong Kong’s research base and mainland Chinese industrial resources.
