Strong turnout in Charlotte highlights how data, sorting technology and standards are shaping the next phase of US textile circularity

CHARLOTTE — Textile recycling’s emerging US ecosystem took a visible step forward as the inaugural Textiles Recycling Expo USA drew nearly 1,900 visitors and close to 100 exhibitors to the city’s convention center.

Organised by AMI, the late-April event positioned itself as North America’s first dedicated platform to connect brands, recyclers, technology providers and policymakers around the practical realities of textile circularity.
