The Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) has appointed animal welfare specialist Marvin Heuduck as head of The Good Cashmere Standard (GCS) and new standard development.
AbTF said Heuduck, who holds a doctorate from the University of Göttingen, brings extensive expertise in certification, goat husbandry and animal welfare to what is billed as the world’s leading standard for sustainable cashmere fibres.
