New Reconomy research warns that circular solutions for business-to-business textiles are failing to keep pace with rising waste volumes
TELFORD — Circular solutions for business-to-business (B2B) textiles remain stuck at pilot scale despite rising waste flows across hospitality, healthcare, automotive, agriculture and construction, new research from Reconomy has found.
The report, titled Why B2B textiles are the next material risk, and opportunity, concludes that technically recyclable textiles are still being lost to downcycling, energy-from-waste and landfill.
