Teijin Frontier and Asahi Kasei to form TA Frontier

New joint venture will focus on high‑tenacity recycled polyester filament yarns for industrial and apparel applications

TOKYO - Teijin Frontier and Asahi Kasei Advance have confirmed that their previously announced joint venture, which will aim to strengthen supply of high‑tenacity recycled polyester filament yarns and related materials for industrial and apparel markets, will be branded as TA Frontier.

Launching in October 2026, the new firm will combine Teijin Frontier’s fibres and products converting business with Asahi Kasei Advance’s trading and materials portfolio, positioning the new company to support growing demand for recycled polyester filaments and resin products with enhanced performance specifications.
