MADRID – The bulk of textile waste in Spain is still ending up in landfill, a new report from Spanish social enterprise Moda re- suggests.

Highlighting how the sector is at a turning point as regulation, traceability and recycling capacity come under pressure, the report, based on 2024 data, warns that 87% of textile waste in Spain is still end up in landfill.
