The British luxury fashion house has revised its net zero deadline by 10 years, citing decarbonisation technology timelines and value chain realities
LONDON – Burberry has delayed its net zero target by 10 years, pushing the deadline from financial year 2039/40 to FY 2049/50, as it publishes a new climate transition plan.
The London-listed luxury group says the revision reflects a "more realistic timeline" and reflect "a greater understanding" of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the Burberry value chain.
