C2C launches facility-level certification for apparel brands and textile mills to cut audit fatigue and speed up certification

The new scheme covers manufacturing processes across the whole site rather than just a single line or a product family.

THE NETHERLANDS – The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute has unveiled a new C2C certified listed facility programme that aims to speed up product certification across entire manufacturing sites, including textile mills and garment factories.

But while the programme could streamline certification workflows, it still rests on voluntary uptake and does not in itself guarantee stronger performance on issues beyond the scope of the C2C Certified standard.
