MANSFIELD – UK vertical weaver Toray Textiles Europe has deepened its role in defence and industrial textiles with a new collaboration with specialist finisher Pincroft Dyeing & Printing, in a move that links reshoring with growing pressure to improve military and performance fabric supply chains.
The partnership is being framed as a way to strengthen domestic supply, but it also raises questions about how energy use, chemistry, and circularity will be tackled in a sector often shielded from scrutiny.
