Europe’s textile EPR rules still fragmented

BRUSSELS — Europe’s patchwork of textile Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes is creating significant compliance headaches for clothing brands, retailers and textile producers operating across multiple markets, according to new analysis published today by the Textile PRO Forum.

The findings are particularly relevant for SMEs, e-commerce operators and cross-border sellers, who face the prospect of navigating up to a dozen separate compliance systems simultaneously.
