Youngone scales Uzbekistan textile ambitions

SEOUL – South Korean apparel manufacturer Youngone Corporation is ramping up its operations in Uzbekistan, with plans to build a fully integrated textile supply chain in the country — from cotton yarn through to finished garments — as it looks to capitalise on the Central Asian nation’s raw material base and preferential trade access to European markets.
