Pakistan joins ATTI transformation drive

Pakistan’s garment sector has signed up to the Apparel and Textile Transformation Initiative (ATTI), agreeing to host a new national chapter 

Pakistan garment workers vote on working conditions
PRGMEA, which represents more than 500 garment exporters and is recognised by the Pakistani government as the sector’s principal trade association.

LONDON – The Pakistan Ready Made Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) has joined ATTI as the initiative’s third national chapter, signalling a push to formalise manufacturer‑driven sustainability planning in a key garment production hub.

Pakistan becomes ATTI’s third participating country, after Bangladesh and Turkey, extending the initiative’s model of nationally rooted but globally coordinated manufacturer‑led action across another major sourcing hub.
