UKFT urges government to strengthen policy for domestic textile manufacturing

The UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) has urged the government to amend public procurement policy to rebuild domestic manufacturing capability, including in textiles.

In a submission to the House of Lords Committee, UKFT says the proposed changes will benefit manufacturing across the fashion and textile industry, as well as other sectors,
