CHRISTCHURCH – A new digital traceability platform for wool has launched in New Zealand as tightening EU regulations accelerate demand for verified data on fibre origin, environmental impact and ethical production.

While the platform has successfully navigated the proof-of-concept stage, developer and CEO Amanda Bransgrove notes that it is still in the developmental phase and has not yet seen a full commercial market rollout. The company is now focused on its next milestone: a full-market rollout, beginning with a strategic focus on India.
