Remade Institute funds projects to increase materials recovery, remanufacturing and recycling in US manufacturing, including textiles
ROCHESTER - The Remade Institute has awarded $4.86 million in funding to 10 technology projects in a bid to close what it descrives as a "valley of death" between the lab and commercial manufacturing.
The public-private partnership, established with support from the US Department of Energy, says the latest round will take technologies from 'Technology Readiness Level 6 to Level 7', tackling the high-risk stage where many circular innovations fail to reach market.
