As many readers will know, I have the privilege of chairing the ZDHC MRSL council, a group of highly skilled, professional experts that determine what have become the de facto global standards for chemical inputs into textile and leather processes.

At a time when there has never been so much scaremongering and panic about chemicals, we’ve drawn up Version 4 of the MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List) with calm heads and objectivity, and it is now been circulated for stakeholder review prior to final publication.
