BAAR – Bluesign has published the 2026 editions of its three flagship chemical reference lists, sharpening restrictions on so-called “forever chemicals” as global PFAS regulation accelerates.

The revision expands Bluesign’s PFAS phase-out chapter, revises recommended testing methodologies, and introduces a new section distinguishing fluorinated non-PFAS dyestuffs from genuine PFAS compounds – a distinction increasingly scrutinised by regulators and testing labs.
