The Advanced Textiles Association will hold its Emerging Technologies Conference in Orlando, Florida, on 2nd November 2026, a day before Advanced Textiles Expo.
ATA says the programme includes smart textiles, sensor-integrated fabrics, bio-based and circular textile innovation, clean chemistry and high-performance finishes.
Among sustainability-linked sessions at the Orange County Convention Center, Dr Kedena Henriques-Thompson, postdoctoral research scholar at NC State University, will address material recovery and end-of-life design in performance footwear.
Dr Debashis Chanda, trustee chair professor at the University of Central Florida, said dynamic colouration “holds immense promise” for thermal sensing, textile engineering, camouflage and reconfigurable displays.
ATA’s official programme says speakers and sessions remain subject to change. Conference registration is open and includes access to Expo.
