Oeko-Tex shapes up for new EU rules

ZURICH — Oeko-Tex has overhauled its governance - separating standard setting from conformity assessment across its certification system - before new EU anti-greenwashing rules take effect.

The organisation said the changes would support compliance with the Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition Directive, known asEmpCo, which becomes applicable across the EU on 27th September.
