Saitex details mixed sustainability progress

Annual report says resource use rose across several categories at its apparel facility, while highlighting a Ralph Lauren-commissioned wage study found pay below one living-wage benchmark

HO CHI MINH CITY / LOS ANGELES – Denim manufacturer Saitex has reported lower electricity and emissions intensity across its Vietnamese apparel manufacturing and fabric mill operations in its 2025 impact report.

However, water, wastewater, steam and gas use per garment has risen at its apparel facility, and one benchmark shows that the company is paying employees below the living wage.
