SCI Fund releases chemical hazards framework

WASHINGTON, DC – The Safer Chemistry Impact (SCI) Fund has released the Safer Chemistry Impact Metrics Framework, an open architecture framework to help organisations consistently measure chemical hazards across products and supply chains.

It translates chemical inventory and hazard information into standardised metrics that companies can use to identify chemicals of concern, understand where information is missing, benchmark progress, and make decisions for safer alternatives.
