AAFA calls for action on ILO support

AAFA urging US State Department to immediately restore and continue support for International Labor Organization

WASHINGTON DC - The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has called on the Trump administration to restore and continue US funding for, and US participation in, the International Labor Organization (ILO).

Writing to the United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the AAFA, alongside signatories from 10 other trade associations, warned that withdrawal from the ILO would cede control of and the leadership at the ILO while also tilting the playing field against American businesses and workers.
