Aii’s benchmark covers energy consumption by primary fuel source and the associated CO2 emissions.

ATHENS Apparel Impact Institute (Aii) is to embed its Energy and Carbon Benchmark tool into Worldly’s Facility Data Manager (FDM), in a move expected to give apparel brands, retailers and textile manufacturers a more process-specific view of energy use and emissions at mill level.

The move has wider strategic importance for an industry seeking more robust Scope 3 emissions data.
