Epoch Biodesign, Huvis and Simabo Technology have been named winners of ITMF’s 2026 Sustainability & Innovation Award for textile circularity projects

Epoch Biodesign depolymerises textile waste into fibre-grade nylon 6,6

ZURICH — The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) has named Epoch Biodesign, Huvis and Simabo Technology Co Ltd, alongside Wuhan Textile University, as winners of its 2026 Sustainability & Innovation Award.

The three successful projects address textile waste, polyester recycling and silk production. Winners will present their work at the ITMF and IAF Conference in Fortaleza, Brazil, on 14th-15th October.
