Textile group plans to expand the additive into technical applications targeting the environmental persistence of polyester and nylon fibres
GASTONIA — US yarn manufacturer Parkdale has acquired full ownership of Ciclo, an additive designed to accelerate synthetic fibre biodegradation, with plans to extend its use beyond apparel and home textiles.
The group announced the acquisition through its Parkdale Advanced Materials subsidiary but did not disclose financial terms.
