Brands launch alliance against microfibre pollution

Six apparel companies join initiative to accelerate supply chain solutions and share practical lessons across the textile industry

SACRAMENTO — The Nature Conservancy (TNC) has launched an industry alliance to reduce microfibre pollution by accelerating the adoption of solutions across textile supply chains.

The Microfiber Action Alliance will help companies, including Nike and Patagonia, identify, refine and implement measures to prevent fibre releases during manufacturing and throughout product lifecycles.
