Lenzing has reported revenue of €1.93bn ($2.23bn) for the first nine months of 2026, down 2.3% year on year, but improved its adjusted EBITDA margin to 18.3% from 17.9%.
The Austrian fibre producer maintained adjusted EBITDA at €353m ($410m), despite reducing standard textile fibre capacity and facing higher energy and chemical costs.

Its “Grow Nonwovens. Reset Textiles.” strategy prioritises nonwovens growth, premium textile applications and withdrawal from low-margin standard fibres.
Production at Heiligenkreuz is due to cease by the end of Q1 2027, with Grimsby scheduled to close by the end of 2027.
Lenzing targets a further €120m ($139m) in savings by the end of 2027, including around 600 job cuts.
Chief executive Georg Kasperkovitz said: “The third quarter of 2026 marks an important milestone in the repositioning of the Lenzing Group.”
