SINGAPORE – Traceability solutions provider FibreTrace has linked up with US retailer Target and agricultural giant Cargill to pioneer the real-time verification of US and Brazilian cotton through the global supply chain.

The initial aim, during the first year of the partnership, is to mark 50,000 metric tons of Cargill raw cotton at the ginning stage with Fibretrace’s patented luminescent pigment which Target can then use to track and verify the cotton across the supply chain.
