COLORADO – Researchers at the Atlas Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder have developed textiles made from gelatine that could be used to make dissolvable clothing.
The team claims to have developed a machine that is able to spin gelatine-based fibres into yarns which can then be knitted or woven into garments. These garments can then be dissolved in hot water in just minutes, researchers said.
