How isotopic testing can help with due diligence

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is keen to stress that isotopic testing is not the silver bullet that will shoot through the murky supply chains for which the fashion industry is notorious.

Nevertheless, in a guidance document published late last year, it said: "Isotopic testing has emerged as a potential tool for companies seeking to determine the geographic origin of materials used in their products, and (we) support its use in supply chain tracing."
