Uncertainty fails to derail cotton sustainability work

Finding reasons to be cheerful around cotton sector sustainability in a world of economic and political uncertainty is not easy. But there are still plenty of good reasons to look for them. Simon Ferrigno reflects on today’s new challenges – and solutions.

Many of us have spent a long time working for positive change. If nothing else, keeping on should be reason enough. Even when our job involves scrutiny (as it does in this Ecotextile News column), we’re going to focus on those who work for positive change and acknowledge that if the change is not always what we hope for, it is nonetheless a step in the right direction.

It’s important to keep things moving. While our job is certainly harder now, it’s still important.
