Next-generation material firm to resume production on a smaller scale after halting manufacturing in September

PEORIA – Plant-based materials specialist Natural Fiber Welding (NFW) has announced it is restarting production on a smaller scale after the US-based start-up opted to close down its operations last September.

In a post on LinkedIn dated 11th January, NFW’s chief scientist Aaron Amstutz wrote: “I'm excited to share that NFW has secured funding in order to continue on our mission to develop and commercialise our bio-based material technologies.
