Luxury brand ends relationships with small workshops and subcontractors in Italy which have been at the centre of an alleged worker abuse scandal
MILAN – Luxury fashion brand Prada has severed links with more than 200 suppliers over the past five years after ramping up audits of its Italian manufacturing base.
The Milan‑based group said it had terminated relationships with 222 suppliers that failed to meet its labour and compliance standards, following more than 850 on‑site inspections since 2020.
