Tanzania and Brazil partner to tackle cotton child labour

BARIADI – Tanzania and Brazil have partnered to combat child labour in cotton farming during a conference related to the Cotton Wealth Decent Work project under the International Labour Organization (ILO).

The initiative aims to create safer working conditions and strengthen social protections to prevent children from being drawn into agricultural work instead of attending school.
