The second part of our series asks the harder question: what exactly are you buying – and can colour management cope when the dye comes with a history rather than a spec?
YORK – Part one of this series asked whether dye can be recovered. The answer was: sometimes, technically, with caveats. Part two asks the harder question: if it can be recovered, what exactly are you buying — and would you know how to use it?
