Fashion air freight surge threatens climate targets

MADRID – Driven by disruptions to major maritime shipping routes, Spanish imports of textiles, clothing, leather, and footwear transported by air surged by 30.4 percent in the first half of the year, reaching €1,148.5 million according to recent reports.
