YORK/MUNICH –  The publisher of Ecotextile News, has joined forces with Performance Days to launch Textile Daily, a new editorially independent show newspaper for the Munich-based fabrics fair’s March 2027 edition.

The significant new collaboration will bring the trusted trade-media expertise behind Ecotextile News to one of Europe’s foremost platforms for performance textile innovation, providing a valuable new service for both visitors and exhibitors alike.

Performance Days now regularly hosts more than 500 exhibitors and innovators from over 30 countries and attracts thousands of international industry professionals to Messe München twice a year.

Against this backdrop, Textile Daily will help visitors rapidly identify the most relevant new products, technologies and services across the show floor.

The newspaper will be written and edited by MCL News Media’s experienced team of B2B textile journalists, contributors and industry experts. It will feature a curated selection of exhibitor news, including new fabrics, yarns, finishes, accessories, technologies and associated services, alongside relevant developments affecting the wider Performance Days ecosystem, such as regulation, supply-chain risk and resilience.

The printed newspaper will be delivered to the Messe München halls on the first day of the show and distributed free of charge to visitors and exhibitors.

A digital version will subsequently be hosted at www.textiledaily.com, extending the visibility and lifespan of the featured innovations beyond the two-day event.

Performance Days brings together an exceptional concentration of creativity, technical expertise and new product development

John Mowbray, director of MCL News Media, said: “Performance Days brings together an exceptional concentration of creativity, technical expertise and new product development at Europe’s fastest-growing showcase for textile innovation.

“Textile Daily will provide visitors with an authoritative, practical guide to these innovations, helping them make the best use of their time at the show while creating a lasting editorial record of what matters.”

Marco Weichert, CEO of Performance Days said, : “With so many innovations presented at Performance Days, helping visitors understand their relevance is increasingly important. Textile Daily will bring an additional editorial perspective to the show, highlighting key developments and giving outstanding innovations visibility beyond the booth. We are delighted to launch this new format together with MCL News Media in March 2027.”

For exhibitors, the publication offers the opportunity for selected launches to be covered independently by professional journalists rather than solely through promotional materials and social media.

This added editorial context can strengthen the credibility of new developments, direct relevant visitors to booths and support product-launch strategies before, during and after the event.
