Polyester producers unite behind Yarnproof verification

GREENSBORO — Unifi and 10 other polyester filament yarn manufacturers in the US and Central America have outlined a new regional traceability initiative to use physical tracers to substantiate sourcing claims across textile supply chains.

Yarnproof makes use of Fibretrace's  invisible, permanent marker which is embedded during extrusion and can be detected in yarn, fabric and finished goods with a proprietary handheld scanner.
