Greenpeace report targets outdoor brands
 Greenpeace has called on outdoor clothing brands to set short-term deadlines for phasing out the use of all poly-fluorinated chemicals (PFCs) in production processes in the wake of new research in which it claims to have found traces of PFCs in snow samples taken from remote mountain ranges and lakes in ten countries across three continents.

A group of NGOs are again calling on German retailer KiK to provide long-term compensation to the victims of the Ali Enterprises Fire in Pakistan which killed 250 textile workers in 2012.

A paper has been published by the Kings College which shows how new and second-hand clothes are traded across continents and traces the human and environmental impacts of production and consumption. 'Clothing Poverty – The hidden world of fast fashion and second hand clothes' has been published by the university's Dr Andrew Brooks.
