High street fashion giant Inditex, which owns brands including Zara and Bershka, has pledged €70 million over three years to buy a proprietary textile-to-textile recycled fibre from LA-based tech start-up Ambercycle.

The deal will, it is hoped, enable the materials innovator to ramp up its development and supply Inditex brands with Cycora fibre from 2025.
